The “Green Streets” initiative planned for our community by the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection was one of ~40 such stream-quality-improvement projects suspended for budgetary reasons by the County Executive and Council. All residents should have received by postal mail the official notification of this action in a letter dated August 8, 2018, delivered approximately August 17th.
