Friends of Sligo Creek organizes Sweep the Creek twice a year, where neighbors gather to clean the area around Sligo Creek of trash. SWCA would like to organize a Sligo Woods group to participate in Sweep the Creek on Saturday, Sept. 23rd. Please email sligowoods@gmail.org if you would like to participate!
The Sligo Woods Community Yard Sale will be Saturday, October 14, 8:30am to 2:00pm (rain date October 15).
Do you have unused items in your home? Have a yard sale at your house, on the same day as your neighbors! We will advertise and offer sample price lists and other resources to help make it as easy as possible for you. We will also create a map of participating homes to distribute to shoppers.
Help keep Sligo Creek clean & beautiful! Sweep the Creek is an annual event that provides an opportunity for neighbors to clean up the creek and surrounding areas. Keep an eye on the Friends of Sligo Creek website for exact times and locations in early September!
