Join the Sligo Woods Civis Association for our quarterly general meeting on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022 at the activity building in the Sligo-Dennis Avenue Local Park. The meeting will run from 7:00 pm-8:30 pm. Refreshments, including some holiday cookies from our neighborhood cookie exchange, will be served. Our special guest will be Nkosi Yearwood, a community planner from the Montgomery County Planning Department. He will present the University Boulevard Corridor Plan and answer questions from residents about the plan. Please join us!
Our Winter Holiday Decorating Contest Committee members will be cruising the neighborhood looking for the best holiday decorations! Winners will be announced on Dec. 18th, 2022!
Come to our general meeting to help us elect new board members for the President, Secretary, and At-Large positions. We will also have updates on the University Blvd. Corridor Plan, as well as discussing upcoming spring events. Refreshments will be served and all attendees will be entered in a raffle!
